Flight from Phoenix
By J.Selles 03|04|13. Now, I've not played entropia for some weeks due to RL stuff, so I've not written anything on it in ages - so hoping this isn't old news.

Anyway, going by various topics on community sites and on official game updates, it seemed to me that many places on Planet Calypso have a serious problem with robots, and as I had logged into the game yesterday on Monday April the 1st for the first time in many days at Camp Phoenix, I immediately thought of the crater that's near there, as there used to be a fairly high robot presence there - so I materialized my Sleipnir near where there used to be a landing pad; it's not there anymore, and went in its' direction to see what I could find.

As I approached the rim of the crater, one of the first things I noticed was a strange looking black and red vessel just hovering to my right, and a larger spacecraft much further away and higher up in front of the moon ahead of me. Thinking this could mean robots not far away from me, I immediately checked the scope to see if there was any danger - there wasn't, and so I continued to go right up to the craters edge. Just as I did this, another spacecraft very, very high up whizzed past overhead to get to some location unknown
I then went over the edge and started to go down into the crater, when suddenly red dots began to show on the scope. The first of them turned out to be Harbinger's of various generations, one of which I managed to get to run towards the vtol so that I could get a good screenshot of it. Then, going much further down, I also discovered some Droka Generation 2's and 3's as well as some very menacing Eviscerator's.
Finally I went right down to the centre of the crater where the foreboding robot base still exists, fairly much just as it used to be some time ago. The whole area was dank and gloomy and pillars of smoke could be seen going up from huge air-vents - and there were more robots everywhere, mainly Legionnaires and more Droka's.

I considered landing somewhere there to get further screenshots, but I also knew that the chances of being able to do this without losing the aircraft and myself was very slim, so in the end I went over the north-side of the crater and continued my search not far from the outpost there, and discovered a few Warrior Generation 02's.

So it seems that the crater north of Camp Phonix is still very much alive with robot entities, and something tells me that it will be so for some time to come.
