Anti-air Assets failing at Planet Calypso
16|03|13 by PlayerOfGames (admin). Friday 15th March I had just logged into Entropia at Fort Argus and decided to go from there to Port Atlantis so as to hunt some easier mobs due West of it as I was too low on ammo for serious hunting and had just done some repairs... Running along the coastline just off the main complex, I suddenly received the warning message from Calypso Defense Forces (CDF) - " NEGOTIATION FAILED - CDF ANTI-AIR ASSETS FAILING - PUBLIC URGED: FIND SHELTER OR EVACUATE - END TRANSMISSION ".

Was this something to do with the message or was it just coincidence - and how long had it been there??? I didn't know and made the mistake of 'ignoring' the warning and going towards that inlet where the usual Exarosaur's are. Red-dots appeared soon enough as expected and I just went strait for them, except they were not Exarosaur's, they were a new generation of Spider Bomber - about four or five clustered together. Did these come from the large ship? I got the distinct impression that they did, but luckilly they were only 'Level 7' and so wouldn't be much of a threat. Then it was simply me against them for the next ten minutes or so and I managed to get some fairly good loot from them without being retired to the nearest reveive point.

Now nearly out of ammo, I went back to the Port Atlantis complex to TT the loot in the Neverdie Bank and to see if there were other robot types lurking around as well as more Spider Bombers. The direction scope was showing red-dots everywhere which turned out to be massed ranks of more familiar JamRaider's that were even easier than the Spider Bomber's as they don't inflict any damage on you.

Having killed a good number of them in the next few minutes, I then went back to the roof of the Port Atlantis Mall with the aim of TP-jaunting to other main Calypso locations to see what other robot types there were, if any...
